This is a genuine Joyetech eGo-C Upgrade Battery. As with all Joyetech products, it is made with ultra-high grade materials. It has strengthened short circuit protection and over discharge protection, providing long battery life and very smooth and steady power to the cartomizer/clearomizer.The Joyetech eGo-C battery also features a built-in power display providing you with power level information. When the battery power is 100% – 50%, the LED light will be white in color. However, when the battery has between 50% – 10% power remaining, the LED will be light blue in color. Once the battery power has been depleted to below 10%, the LED light will be dark blue in color. This allows you to know exactly when you need to recharge the battery.The New Upgrade battery allows for two modes of operation: Constant Voltage and Variable Voltage. This ability is the primary improvement between the original eGo-C battery and the upgrade version.Constant Voltage Mode — Regardless of the level of charge, when the battery is in constant voltage mode, it will provide a steady voltage of 3.3V. This is essentially the same as the original Joyetech eGo-C battery. When the battery is in constant voltage mode, the LED light of the battery will be blue in color.Variable Voltage Mode — When the battery is in this mode, it will provide a maximum voltage output of 4.15V when the battery is fully charged. As the battery is used, and the charge wears off, the battery will output less and less voltage until it reaches the minimum output of 3.3V. Once it reaches 3.3V, it will remain at that level until the battery dies or is charged.
